Philip Yuen has succeeded Chaly Mah as chief
executive of Deloitte Singapore.
Mah handed over the operational reins of the
firm to focus on his roles as chief executive of Deloitte Asia
Pacific and Deloitte Southeast Asia, and as a member of the
Deloitte’s global executive. Mah has now assumed the role of
Deloitte Singapore chairman.
Yuen joined Deloitte in 1991 and became an
audit partner in 1996.
He has been on the Deloitte Singapore
management team for eight years and was chief of operations for the
past three years.
Yuen has experience auditing multinationals
and local companies, as well as advising companies to list on
Singapore’s stock exchange. He has performed acquisition and due
diligence reviews of companies in Asia-Pacific.
He is also a member of the Institute of
Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a fellow member of
CPA Australia.
