Dutch firm Baker Tilly Berk has appointed
Romke van der Veen as chief executive. Van der Veen succeeds Michel
de Graaf, who has led the firm for the past six years.
Van der Veen has worked as a partner at the
firm since 2001 and is part of the firm’s supervisory board and
international tax force.
Baker Tilly Berk is expected to grow
‘significantly’ in the coming year both organically and
through M&A, Van der Veen said.
In the most recent International
Accounting Bulletin Netherlands survey, Baker Tilly Berk
reported revenues of €90million for the year ending December 2009.
This made it the seventh largest firm in the Netherlands.
