Press release by DFK International – A Thames Valley accountancy firm has joined worldwide professional association DFK International to extend its global reach.
Shaw Gibbs has become the first DFK International member based in Oxford, and in doing so is now part of one of the top ten accountancy associations in the world.
DFK international has more than 400 offices in over 90 countries, including 19 member firms in its DFK UK & Ireland group.
Shaw Gibbs is recognised as a leading accountancy and business advisory practice, with a track-record spanning more than 80 years. Its clients range from successful individuals to SMEs, charities and not-for-profit entities, LLPs, and subsidiaries of overseas companies in Oxfordshire and throughout the UK.
Peter O’Connell, Managing Director Shaw Gibbs, said joining DFK International is a natural step as the firm has seen an increasing number of international businesses approach them to provide support to their UK operations.

Shaw Gibbs went through a structured process involving a detailed review and inspection, followed by a vote by the existing UK and Ireland DFK members prior to being confirmed as DFK International members.
