Russell Bedford International has added firms in Brazil and Peru to its network.

Grupo Maciel was founded in the Brazilian city of Porto Alegre in 2010. It has six offices across Brazil. The principal offices of the eight-partner group, with around 80 professional staff, are located in Porto Alegre, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Brasilia, with an additional presence in Curitiba and Belo Horizonte.

The firm offers auditing, management consulting, and IT consulting. The practice has a client base of around 200 clients, which comprises large national organisations with multiple locations, medium and small organisations, including public and private companies, financial institutions, energy companies, pension funds, insurers, foundations, cooperatives and international organisations.

Luis Acosta Peche & Asociados was founded in 2011 in Lima, Peru. The group comprises two entities – an audit practice (Luis Acosta Peche & Asociados S.C. de R.L) and a consulting practice (LA Corporation S.A.C.).

The principle two partners are supported by a director and a total of 45 personnel, and the audit practice is registered with the Padrón de Auditores Independientes del Colegio de Contadores Públicos de Lima and with the Registro de Sociedades de Auditoría Externa (RESAE) de la Superintendencia de Banca, Seguros y AFP.
