G. Kibria & Co. is one of Bangladesh’s leading professional services firm, providing audit and assurance, tax, corporate risk services, financial advisory and management consultancy to a wide range of local and multi-national clients.
The firm was established in 1983 by A. K. Gulam Kibria, FCA (founder and managing partner) under the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB). The firm’s two other partners are Mohd. Ishaque Ali Miah, Senior Partner and Sultan Moheuddin.
The firm has been classified as an “A” category firm by the Bangladesh Bank (Central Bank of Bangladesh). It is also on the panel (comprising only 40 reputed firms) of external auditors, as well as on the panel of values (property, assets and liability), of the Bangladesh Security Exchange Commission (BSEC). In addition, it has been enlisted as auditor of the NGO Affairs Bureau and Microcredit Regulatory Authority (MRA) of Bangladesh.
The firm has a workforce of more than 100 people. Their staff includes qualified accountants, part qualified accountants, MBA, BBA and other technically qualified persons. They service clients throughout the country from their strategically located offices in Dhaka, the major business hub of Bangladesh.
