Xeinadin, a professional services company in the UK and Ireland, has acquired three Haines Watts offices in Grimsby, Scunthorpe and Hessle, UK.

The move is set to bolster Xeinadin’s presence in the Yorkshire and the Humber region.

With the acquisition, Xeinadin expects to strengthen its business advice to SMEs in the local area.

Xeinadin CEO Derry Crowley said: “I am delighted to welcome the team and clients of three former Haines Watts offices to Xeinadin in what is a key milestone in our growth strategy.

“The team, led by partner Jennifer Toulson, are consummate professionals with a track record of delivering exceptional services for local businesses. They fit in with the ethos of our company and I look forward to seeing them thrive as part of Xeinadin.”

A Xeinadin survey, which included 1,000 SMEs across the UK, revealed that 84% of small business owners in Yorkshire and Humber consult with their accountant at least once a month.

The integration of the Haines Watts offices will see 23 colleagues join Xeinadin’s team, operating under the existing management structure.

The new branches will collectively be known as the Xeinadin Humber offices.

Xeinadin Humber partner Jennifer Toulson said: “This move marks a new and exciting time in our journey as we join Derry and our new colleagues at Xeinadin. We will continue to deliver personalised services to our clients in Grimsby, Scunthorpe, Hessle and across Yorkshire, tapping into the resources and expertise of the business advisory firm built for small business.”

The acquisition of the Haines Watts offices follows Xeinadin’s recent additions of Clay Shaw Thomas and Jones Harris, bringing their total acquisitions to 27 over the past two years.

Employing more than 2,000 people, Xeinadin is engaged in providing services including accounting, audit, tax, advisory and business.
