UK-based accountancy firm SBP Accountants & Business Advisers has appointed Peter Manson as audit manager to lead the expansion of its audit services.
In his new role, Manson will support the expansion and development of the firm’s audit team.
Commenting on the new position, Manson said: “I am honoured to join SBP and look forward to contributing to the firm’s continued success.
“Together, we will work towards expanding our audit services and delivering exceptional value to our clients.”
A dual-qualified accountant with more than six years of experience, Manson has expertise in audit, year-end accounts, consolidated accounts, group accounts, corporation tax, personal tax, and VAT.
Academically, Manson was recognised in 2018 as the best final-year student in the Accountancy and Finance BA (Hons) degree course at Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen and graduated with first-class honours.
The appointment of Manson builds on SBP’s 11 company-wide promotions and the advancement of two employees to director positions last year.
In the press release announcing the appointment, the firm, with offices in Aberdeen, Peterhead, Fraserburgh, and Banff, unveiled aims to build on its previous year’s success by improving service offerings.
SBP managing partner John Hannah said: “We are delighted to welcome Peter to our growing audit team. His extensive experience and proven track record in audit and taxation align perfectly with our strategic goals.
“We are confident that Peter will add real value to our Audit and Taxation Teams.”
