
RSM UK, an audit, tax, and consulting firm, has promoted 11 new partners to bolster organic growth and support its corporate objectives.
The firm’s tax practice has seen the elevation of two experts, corporate tax specialist Chris Alderman and VAT compliance authority Joost Willemsen, to partner status.
Alderman, who joined RSM in 2005, has expertise in innovation reliefs, particularly research and development (R&D) tax relief.
Willemsen, who transitioned from KPMG to RSM in 2021, leads a team providing technology-driven VAT compliance outsourcing services.
Additionally, in the national audit team, Dominic Finn and Nick Cattini have achieved partner level at RSM UK.
Finn, a member of RSM’s Industrials group, has expertise in auditing private equity portfolio companies.
Cattini, with more than 19 years of experience in audit and assurance, joined RSM in 2006.
The consulting service line at RSM UK has seen five of its experts rise to partner level, including Philippa Carter in accounting, insight and advisory; Glen Carter in restructuring advisory; Andrea Deegan in fraud risk; and Mark Leyland and Graham Weston in deal services.
Philippa Carter, a partner in consultancy team, specialises in finance function support.
Glen Carter, who joined RSM in 2019, has experience at boutique restructuring firms and in a management accounting.
A partner in forensics team, Andrea Deegan has more than 20 years of experience helping clients prevent fraud.
Mark Leyland has 20 years of experience in both professional practice and industry, working across sectors such as marketing, environmental consultancy, manufacturing, retail, recruitment, media, and technology.
Graham Weston leads the company’s transactions data analytics team, helping businesses manage data throughout a transaction.
RSM UK also appointed economist Thomas Pugh and dispute resolution head Sally Baker as partners.
Pugh, who works with RSM partners across the UK, provides economic insights for businesses within the real economy.
Baker leads the dispute resolution team. She provides internal legal support across core functions on disputes and claims.

In February 2025, RSM UK appointed Mark Crawford as a director to bolster its business transformation team.
Crawford will support the firm’s efforts to expand manufacturing client base and enhancing its procurement, supply chain, and business transformation services.
