Ketteringham said: “I’m really looking forward to leading our Financial Services business and talented team to support our clients as they transform their business models, address regulatory requirements and navigate the opportunities and demands of a complex market environment.”

Ketteringham will replace Isabelle Jenkins, who previously held the position since January 2021.

Jenkins has transitioned to a new role within PwC, taking up responsibilities as Chief People Officer of the Consulting division as of 1 July 2024.

PwC UK chief markets officer and management board member Carl Sizer said: “The financial services industry is a jewel in the crown of the UK economy.

“The sector continues to face a wide range of opportunities and challenges, and the depth and breadth of Darren’s experience working with some of our largest financial services clients makes him a great person to lead our efforts in this area.”

In August 2024, PwC UK and professional services firm Cockroach Labs collaborated to reduce the risks, costs, and complexity of regulatory compliance and mainframe modernisation.
