UHY has added Mont Audit Plus, a firm providing services of external auditing, tax and financial consulting, to its network, and has expanded its coverage in western Asia by appointing McKenzie Shaw.
Mont, based in Podgorica, Montenegro, has a team of 12 staff including 4 partners and will rebrand to UHY Mont Audit as part of the appointment.
UHY said Montenegro’s impending membership of NATO and EU, as well as an expanding economy, has caught the attention of foreign direct investors.
The addition of McKenzie, based in Doha, Qatar, will extend UHY’s coverage in the region.
McKenzie has a team of 16 staff including 4 partners and is based in an economy undergoing a transformation to achieve ‘an advanced, sustainable and diversified economy’, said Ladislav Hornan, chairman of UHY.
The firm offers accounting, bookkeeping, management advisory services, IT services and also audit and tax services, and is to rebrand to UHY Ammo & Co.
