BDO UK has appointed several senior level staff members to its London-based financial services team.
David Morrey, most recently in charge of developing financial services risk advisory and internal audit at Kingston Smith Consulting, has been appointed partner. His experience includes advising on risk management frameworks having also previously held the role of head of risk compliance at Aviva group.
The mid-tier firm also appointed Sulfi Unar as a senior manager and Liam Martinez as a manager.
"By growing the team we aim to exceed the ever increasing requirements and challanges of financial services companies in the face of incoming financial regulation including, AIFMD, RDR, CRD IV and FATCA as well as the imminent introduction of the two new regulators, the FCA and PRA," BDO financial services audit head Neil Fung-On said.
