KPMG in India has announced the appointment of Hemant Jhajhria as the new Partner and Head of Consulting.
The move comes as the firm intends to boost its talent pool to meet the surging demand for specialised consulting services.
Jhajhria will be responsible for overseeing the business, technology, and risk consulting practices from the Mumbai office.
His role will also include being a part of the India Leadership Team (ILT) and leading the firm’s efforts to integrate its services into comprehensive client solutions.
Jhajhria has more than 24 years of experience in strategy consulting and business management. He has a background in advising a diverse range of clients, including those in financial services, conglomerates, and digital startups.
His areas of expertise cover growth strategies, business transformation, and technology and digital strategy, particularly in the Indian and US markets.

Before his new role at KPMG India, Jhajhria served as a Managing Director & Partner at Boston Consulting Group.
His career began at Citigroup, where he spent more than a decade in various leadership positions, managing substantial profit and loss segments across consumer banking, wealth management, lending, and digital operations.
