CPA advisory firm Herbein + Company (Herbein) has acquired Bumpers & Company, a full-service accounting and advisory firm based in Wilmington, Delaware, the US.
This move is part of the company’s plan to expand its presence in the US and globally, marking its first location in Delaware.
Bumpers & Company has been providing a range of services including accounting, auditing, tax, and management advisory to individuals, small businesses, and professional clients for more than 100 years.
The acquisition will see Bumpers & Company managing partner Douglas S. Kook and director Chadwick J. Milton join Herbein as partners, along with their team of 18 professionals.
The current Bumpers & Company location in Wilmington will now serve as a new Herbein office and the team will continue to operate from this location.
Herbein CEO David Stonesifer said: “We are very excited for the Bumpers team to join Herbein, and the possibilities that lie ahead are immense. We look forward to working with the Bumpers & Company team to help clients succeed with confidence in the Delaware market.”
