BDO Luxembourg, a member of the BDO’s international network of public accounting, tax and advisory firms, has named Alain Lam as its new managing partner.
Lam, whose appointment takes effect on October 1, 2024, will succeed Daniel Croisé, with support from a newly appointed leadership team during the transition.
Croisé said: “It has been a privilege to serve as Managing Partner and to witness the tremendous growth of BDO Luxembourg. I am confident that Alain, with the support of the new leadership team, will lead the firm to the next level.”
Lam has more than two decades of experience in the financial and corporate services sector.
Since joining BDO Luxembourg in 2017 and serving on the executive committee, Lam led several strategic initiatives that have increased the firm’s client portfolio.
Lam will focus on client-centric solutions, innovation in his new role.

Melissa Bruno joined BDO as a People Advisory partner in the digital risk advisory services (DRAS) team, and Andrew Clewer in the audit quality improvement team (AQIT). Daniel Quiligotti joined as a partner specialising in asset management.
