Baker Tilly has appointed Monica Modi Dalwadi as the new managing principal for Eastern US, taking over from Fred Massanova who transitions into the role of chief growth officer.

Since 2019, Dalwadi has been the managing principal for the Metro D.C. market at the advisory, tax, and assurance firm.

In her new capacity, she will manage operations and “strategic” growth efforts across several key geographic markets, including metropolitan D.C., West Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, and New England.

Baker Tilly CEO Jeffrey Ferro said: “Monica’s leadership, industry expertise and commitment to our clients and team members are unmatched.

“Her dedication to fostering innovation and collaboration will continue driving success for our firm across the Eastern U.S.”

Frank Walker, with more than two decades of experience in public accounting, consulting, and industry leadership, takes on Dalwadi’s previous role.

As the new managing principal for the D.C. Metro region, Walker will focus on leadership, management, and strategic growth, with an emphasis on team member development and community engagement.

Dalwadi said: “Frank’s dedication to client success and his vision for the future make him an excellent choice to lead the D.C. Metro market.

“I’m confident he will build on the strong foundation we’ve created.”

“It has been a privilege to lead Baker Tilly’s D.C. Metro market. I’m excited to expand my role and collaborate with our exceptional teams across the Eastern US to create lasting value for our clients and enhance our firm’s presence in the region,” added Dalwadi.
