Leading global accountancy body ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) has teamed up with leading learning company Kaplan to offer cutting edge apprenticeships. The Level 3 Finance Analyst apprenticeship is designed to ensure businesses are equipped with the skills needed in modern accounting roles.
Rob Alder, Head of Apprenticeships & Relationships, ACCA UK, said: ‘The role of the accountant is changing fast and there is a need for more practical skills to understand and utilise technology to make informed business decisions. This is what this apprenticeship is designed to offer.’
The apprenticeship offers the unique opportunity for individuals to be equipped with relevant skills to directly apply their learning in the workplace and unlock potential from business data.
As well as developing technical skills using a range of core technologies and platforms, apprentices will develop the ability to source, analyse, work with financial data, and generate insights that underpin business decisions. The apprenticeship integrates eight modules of technical training with work-based projects. This ensures that learning and skills are directly applied to the apprentice’s role, and maximises the time used as part of off-the-job training.
