Forvis Mazars Group, an international audit, tax and advisory services partnership, has named Jennifer Allison as the new office managing partner (OMP) in Edinburgh, succeeding Laura Clarkson who held the position for seven years.
Allison’s primary responsibility will be to drive the firm’s business strategy in the region and manage a team of more than 100 professionals.
The focus will be on expanding advisory services to mid-market and international businesses to support clients through all development stages. The Edinburgh team will maintain its emphasis on public sector and audit services.
Allison said: “It’s a privilege to have been appointed Edinburgh office managing partner and entrusted with shaping the firm’s presence in the region over the coming years. As OMP, I hope to have a positive impact on all my colleagues in Edinburgh and will continue to foster a collaborative, supportive, and inclusive environment, as well as nurturing the development of those at the earlier stage of their careers. This will enable us to continue to offer the highest quality of services to our clients, working closely with them as they navigate a changing landscape under a new Government”.
Jennifer Allison brings more than a decade of experience with Forvis Mazars to her new role as OMP, having led the national corporate tax compliance team.
She has expertise in supporting entrepreneurial privately-owned businesses and providing tax advice to companies and shareholders. With her entire career rooted in Edinburgh, Allison is said to possess ‘deep’ insights on the local business landscape.
