Baker Tilly International’s senior partner Lei (Stone) Yan has been appointed to the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) Board.
The Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CICPA) selected Lei for the position.
Lei’s appointment to the new position showcases the contributions he has made in the field of accounting. His expertise also includes IPO auditing within China’s capital markets.
As a senior partner and head of assurance and international business at Baker Tilly in China, Lei possesses extensive experience in auditing and consulting for companies with large-scale international operations.
Lei actively participates in the SME Implementation Group of IFRS and the HR Development Committee of CICPA, focusing on talent development in the industry.

Lei, a certified public accountant in China, obtained his bachelor’s degree in accounting from North China Electric Power University and later pursued his master’s degree in business management from the Central University of Finance and Economics.
Baker Tilly International recently appointed Nick Bull as the network’s Global Head of Audit. His role includes collaboration with regional and service line audit teams to implement the global audit strategy.
He will also be responsible for driving the growth of the audit business within the network, identifying new opportunities for expansion.
