RSM Ireland has bolstered its audit, tax, and consulting teams with the appointment of three partners and three directors.
Ronan Gilmartin joins RSM Ireland as an audit partner, bringing more than 15 years of experience from KPMG.
He will focus on enhancing services for the firm’s technology and media clients.
Sunil Adhikary is joining as an audit director from Deloitte. He has a similar tenure in audit and advisory services for publicly listed companies, multinationals, and SMEs across Ireland, Asia, and Australia.
Alison Hodgson, with more than 20 years of experience, has been appointed as a consulting partner.
She will lead HR transformation and change programmes within RSM’s expanding consulting practice.

Liam Kenny joins as a tax partner from Grant Thornton, where he spent nearly two decades advising on M&A transactions, succession planning, and tax matters for high-growth businesses and private equity-backed enterprises.
Seán McCarthy is rejoining RSM from PWC as a tax director. He has more than 12 years of expertise in corporate tax advisory services, particularly for technology and life science sectors.

The latest appointments come after a proposed merger between RSM US and RSM UK was announced in October 2024, which aims to create a partner-owned multinational organisation.
The merger would encompass locations in the UK, US, Canada, Ireland, India, and El Salvador, supported by 23,000 professionals and generating combined annual revenues of $5bn (£3.95bn).
In November 2023, RSM UK made a strategic investment in RSM Ireland.
