Menzies LLP, a leading UK accountancy and strategic advisory firm, has announced the appointment of six new partners as part of its ongoing growth plans.
Five new partners have been promoted from within the existing Menzies team:
- Helen Cuthbert, a private client specialist based at the firm’s Leatherhead office
- Andrew Galliers, an audit and compliance specialist at the firm’s Solent office
- Robert Kruppa, an accounts and advisory specialist based at the firm’s Solent office
- Charlotte Langdon, an audit and compliance specialist at the firm’s Farnborough office
- Andrew Wooding, an audit and compliance specialist at the firm’s London office
Also appointed is Hezelina Hashim, who has joined from BDO as an audit and assurance partner at Menzies’ Heathrow office.
Helen Cuthbert has over 25 years of experience in private client tax. Joining Menzies in July 2021 as a director, Cuthbert brought with her a wealth of experience from previous roles at EY, James Cowper Kreston, and BPP. She specialises in advising internationally mobile high net worth individuals together with their domestic and offshore trust structures. Cuthbert enjoys assisting clients with succession planning and advising across clients’ generations with tax efficient solutions.
Andrew Galliers joined Menzies in August 2007 as an accounts and audit trainee in the Solent office and, after spending some time on secondment with HLB Mann Judd in Sydney, has continued to specialise in audit clients. As part of the transport and logistics team, he has an affinity with clients in the sector and has been especially passionate about supporting them through the Covid years and the challenges they brought.
Joining Menzies in March 2006, Robert Kruppa oversees accounts & advisory, playing a crucial role in building and developing the service offering. He has been instrumental in driving innovation and upskilling in the service line, including the move to fully paperless accounts production and more recently the introduction of RPA and similar technologies. Beyond his professional duties, Kruppa leads the Solent office’s CSR initiatives and organises opportunities for colleagues to connect.

By GlobalDataCharlotte Langdon’s career at Menzies commenced in 2010 as an audit ACA trainee, following a week of work experience that inspired her to apply for a graduate position. Her professional journey has seen her work across multiple office locations, including Farnborough, Heathrow, Woking, and London. She is head of the manufacturing sector team and using her background in the technical team, works with many different types of business, including complex groups, international businesses, and pension scheme audits.
Andrew Wooding joined Menzies in 2012 as a manager through a practice merger with London-based Target. He is a member of the hospitality and leisure sector team and specialises in restaurant, golf, and leisure clients, working both with UK based businesses and international groups. Wooding has a strong technical background, overseeing a number of complex audits within his portfolio and collaborating with other teams in advising on accounting matters of group restructurings.
Hezelina Hashim joins Menzies as a partner within the audit and assurance team from BDO, where she was previously a director. With prior experience at Deloitte and Andersen, she has worked with numerous technology companies and international groups and she will continue her focus on growing these areas at Menzies. Hashim is especially passionate about working to support her clients in their growth journeys as well as taking a keen interest in the career growth of her teams.
