HLB International US member firm Eide Bailly has acquired Salt Lake City-based firm Lake, Hill & Meyers (LHM).
LHM adds $3.5m of revenues, 24 staff and 5 partners to Eide Bailly and is the second Utah firm joining Eide Bailly after Schmitt, Griffiths, Smith & Co in 2012.
Eide Bailly partner Kevin Anderson will serve as the partner-in-charge for the firm’s two Utah offices.
"With the addition of LHM, we will have a stronger presence in the western region of the United States. This is all part of our strategic plan to build out our footprint to the West", said Eide Bailly managing partner Dave Stende.
LHM partner Bob Lake staid: "We will be able to help our clients with more of their business needs – like business analytics, business valuations and buy/sell assistance – by utilising the knowledge and expertise of specialists across Eide Bailly."
Following the acquisition, effective 1 July, Eide Bailly will have total staff of more than 1,200, including 175 partners.
Eide Bailly’s total revenues were $167m in the year to 30 April 2013.
