Baker Tilly UK has entered into an agreement to sell its employee benefits solutions business to international insurance broker Arthur J. Gallagher & Co.
The disposal completes Baker Tilly’s re-organisation and divestment of the financial management business previously owned by RSM Tenon, according to the firm’s managing partner Laurence Longe.
"This will enable us to focus on our core markets and key areas of growth both nationally and internationally," he said.
Earlier this year, Baker Tilly UK sold its private client financial advice and investment management business to wealth adviser Towry.
The sold businesses became part of Baker Tilly UK just last year when the firm bought RSM Tenon in pre-pack deal.
