Baker Tilly International Australian member Pitcher Partners and Moore Stephens Sydney are to merge their practices as of 31 October 2015
The combined firm in Sydney, led by current Moore Stephens Sydney managing director Rob Southwell, will operate as Pitcher Partners and comprise 28 partners and 240 staff, targeting AU$48m ($36m) in revenues in FY2016.
The Pitcher Partners Association is an independent member of Barker Tilly International, has firms in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane and Newcastle.
With the addition of Moore Stephens Sydney it will count a total of 110 partners and some 1,200 staff.
Commenting on the development, Southwell stressed Pitcher Partners’s strong Australian presence and international reach and said the merger will enable the improvement of services regardless of where clients are based.

Moore Stephens International was ranked 10th with fee income of A$119.8m.
