Three BDO UK partners have been appointed as administrators of all the UK entities of PR agency Bell Pottinger.
A notice of intention was filed last week after Bell Pottinger was expulsed from the Public Relations and Communications Association following controversies and scandals over its South African business work for the Gupta family which resulted in losses of clients, partners and staff.
The UK entities in administration are: Bell Pottinger Private Ltd, Bell Pottinger LLP and Bell Pottinger Services Ltd.
A BDO spokesman said that the administrators have made a number of redundancies and are seeking to transfer remaining partners, employees and clients to other firms.
