Shinsei International Tax Co. (Shinsei) is based in Tokyo, Japan and is led by a management team with background in Big Four firms and the Japanese National Tax Agency.
Founded in 2011, the firm focuses on tax and transfer pricing and supporting clients in international tax, financial matters and accounting.
Shinsei provides services in tax filings for small businesses, start-ups, individuals and families, and support for clients facing tax inspections/audits. The firm also provides support for international corporate M&A and reorganisation, transfer pricing reviews and documentation, and cross-border asset reporting and inheritance tax planning.
Russell Bedford’s CEO, Stephen Hamlet, said: “It is a pleasure to welcome Shinsei as our new member in Tokyo. Following a successful visit to the firm’s offices in April, I was very impressed by the partners, their wide-ranging professional backgrounds and particularly their assured international focus. It is this professional attitude, combined with the firm’s burning ambition that inevitably resulted in their appointment as a Russell Bedford member firm.”
Shinsei partner, Shinichi Takagi, added: “As providing global support is an essential element for our growing client base, it was imperative for our firm’s future success to join a network that could help us on this journey. Having met with Russell Bedford’s CEO and discussed our mutual goals we soon realised that Russell Bedford was the right network for our firm. We are excited to embark on this new journey of development.”
