Grant Thornton today announced member firm expansion in Australia, Canada and Costa Rica.
Grant Thornton Australia has merged with GNC Group Consulting Pty Ltd, a Melbourne-based retail consulting firm. GNC was founded in 2010 and has since grown to include more than fifty consultants with offices in Melbourne, Sydney and Malaysia.
Grant Thornton LLP (Canada) has acquired the PricewaterhouseCoopers practice in Corner Brook, with the five member team relocating to the Grant Thornton offices in Corner Brook, Newfoundland and Labrador. Grant Thornton LLP (Canada) also acquired the Craig Keller Professional Corporation practice, which will be integrated into their Kitchener office.
Grant Thornton Costa Rica has merged with the entire former tax practice of Deloitte Costa Rica. Through this merger, the firm has incorporated three new partners and 75 new staff, strengthening their audit, tax and business process solutions services capability. The new firm will operate in the market as Grant Thornton Costa Rica.
